ABSTRACT
The paper aimed to analyze the open innovation model from Latin-American public university and main factors that influence it. interaction between with its ecosystem, technology management, profile of academic community, policies were studied. research methodology had a qualitative approach. And process was integrated into three phases identify categories innovation, categorized ecosystem in four Mexican universities, triangulate behavior through semi-structured interviews six academics. findings showed is feasible platform link University local enterprises despite peculiar heterogeneous unequal context ecosystem; furthermore, collaborative flows identified –inside, outside, mixed hybrid-. In conclusion, interdisciplinary approach, techno-institutional networks, institutional policy where community mediator variable. Finally, it highlighted new re-institutionalization based on digital transformation environmental sustainability are required; thus, Schools Innovation Taught needed encourage them.
