ABSTRACT
This study explores the evolution of Chinese local children's piano enlightenment works, focusing on balance between tradition and innovation. music, deeply rooted in traditional culture modern techniques, holds significant artistic value. Early 20th century initiatives by Xiao Youmei Zakharoff established a foundation for systematic education China, while competitions such as Tcherepnin's 1930s spurred creation child-centric pieces. Despite interruptions during Cultural Revolution, post-1980s reforms advent new millennium have led to resurgence culturally responsive materials. These materials often integrate folk tunes operas, addressing need aesthetic appreciation cultural relevance musical education. The essay highlights importance localized nurturing young learners' national music ensuring continuity traditions. It also addresses challenges posed teaching methods, scarcity relevant repertoire, impact digital technology pedagogy, proposing blended approach foster creativity understanding.
