ABSTRACT
This paper presents a design of dielectric waveguide filter using dual-mode resonators (DWRs). The is formed by ceramic monoblock, thus it compact and ease fabrication. employed degenerate modes DWR are TE101 TE011 mode, which can be coupled slot on the block. coupling between single-mode realized aperture slot. external silver-coated blind hole that aligns to mode for excitation. Transmission zero (TZ) flexibly generated above or below passband, changing relative position A sixth order bandpass working at 4.9 GHz designed dual- DWRs. fabricated measured, agreeing well with simulation. has size, low insertion loss, good selectivity wide spurious-free response, applicable 5G base stations.
