ABSTRACT
Gryllus bimaculatus, traditionally used in oriental medicine, demonstrates functional and pharmacological potential through demonstrating immunomodulatory, hepato-protective properties, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective effects. In this study, we examined the effect of G. bimaculatus on cell proliferation apoptosis lung cancer cells. This is first study to examine anti-cancer effects extracts non-small cancer. Frozen was obtained, homogenized, dissolved distilled water. Using a freeze dryer, samples were concentrated until almost all water removed, diluted solutions phosphate buffered saline. Anti-cancer human cells estimated based cytotoxicity, western blot, flow cytometry, using lipopolysaccharides as positive control. H460 A549 treated with various concentrations, lipopolysaccharide pos-itive The results showed that treatment extract for 24 or 48 h inhibited proliferation, demonstrated by reduced numbers morphological changes. Furthermore, cytometry analysis induced death H460. However, did not show cytotoxic conclusion, cells, possibly via caspase, Bcl-2 family signaling pathways. Therefore, are safe efficient natural materials may have great
