ABSTRACT
Objective To summarize the epidemiological data of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in China from 2013 to 2017 analyze its molecular characteristics order provide scientific basis for improving prevention control measures. Methods China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database China, Chinese VIP Journal Net Pubmed were used search HFMD published recent years. notification surveillance mainland obtained Health Family Planning Commission World Organization. Basic statistic tools analysis. Results From 2016, incidence rates 134.37/100 000, 203.16/100 145.30/100 176.62/100 000 140.46/100 respectively. Enterovirus 71 (EV71), coxsackievirus A16 (CA16), CA6 CA10 predominant pathogens causing first half 2013-2017. was main epidemic strain most areas China. EV71 remained pathogen severe HFMD, but CA6, CA16 also critical concern. The strains enteroviruses varied with year region. Conclusion Although vaccine has been approved since not controlled completely It is badly need more comprehensive other types polyvaccine improve HFMD. Key words: Hand, disease; Molecular epidemiology; Other enteroviruses; CA6; Prevention
