Progress of nonpharmacological interventions in the treatment of apathy in Alzheimer′s disease

ABSTRACT
Apathy is one of the most common neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with Alzheimer′s disease. has a serious negative impact on patients. There have been no specific medicines for treatment apathy. Accordingly, people become increasingly concerned about study nonpharmacological interventions. Multiple non-pharmacological therapies such as music therapy, reminiscence multi-sensory stimulation, exercise occupational therapy and physiotherapy played role improving However, intervention aiming at apathy rarely reported home abroad. The method interventions should be further standardized, it worthy clinical application. Key words: Alzheimer disease; Apathy; Interventions studies
