Vitrectomy associatied with photocoagulation to macular hole to treat retina detachment caused by macular hole in highly myopic eyes

ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the indication and operative skill clinical effect of vitrectomy associatied with photocoagulation to macular hole treat retina detachment caused by in highly myopic eyes.Methods A total 21 eyes were received vrtrectomy.During surgery, perfluorodecalin injected hole, gas-liquid exchange filled vitreous 14%C3F8 carried out following steps. Keep head down after surgery.The follow up duration was 1 6 months.Results The all these reattached.Macular not adhered firmly 3 re-detached when gas absorbed.Visual acuity improved 16 eyes, unchanged 2 decreased eyes.Conclusions surgery can effectively eyes.
