ABSTRACT
Objective
To study the effect of intraocular lens implantation after phacoemulsification on pressure (IOP) and visual acuity in patients with angle closure glaucoma cataract.
Methods
46 cases (86 eyes) cataract outpatient clinic our hospital from July 2014 to December 2016 were enrolled this study, divided into observation group (42 cases) control (44 according random number table. The was treated phacoemulsification, while combined trabeculectomy phacoemulsification. Observed two groups.
Results
The excellent rate good 78.57% (33/42) 90.48% (38/42), significantly higher than 52.27% (23/44) 70.45% (31/44) group, statistically significant differences between groups (P<0.05). After treatment, IOP improved, those improved more (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Intraocular for can effectively alleviate IOP, enhance acuity, high safety, worthy recommendation.
