ABSTRACT
Objective
To explore the efficacy of transurethral retrograde balloon dilatation through cystoscope for postoperative ureteral stricture in children.
Methods

Among them, 5 male, 2 female. The youngest was 7 months old, oldest 8 years old. They all diagnosed as after laparoscopic ureteropelvis anastomosis, a narrow length < 2.0 cm. location degree renal function should be known before operation, tract infection controlled if there was. Transurethral high pressure operated DSA. Double J tube indwelled 3 to 6 operation. follow-up time calculated from placement double tube. analyzed according clinical symptoms imaging manifestations patients during follow-up.
Results
The surgeries successfully completed under general anesthesia, without changing mode no blood transfusion operation complications occurred. discharged three days 3-12 months. 1 year later, obstruction disappeared their improved. case suffered again severe expansion, replaced by anastomosis; 12 months’ follow-up, anastomosis. total effective rate 71.4% (5/7).
Conclusion
Transurethral is safe, minimally invasive children <2 Second can avoided some hospitalization shortened. Balloon preferred method treatment children.
