ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the pharmacodynamic effect of longan extract on alcohol abstinence-induced anxious behavior in rats. Methods The was concentrated to 1/3 original volume by ethanol extraction and freeze-dried powder. The SD rats were randomly divided into a blank group, model low concentration medium high group. Firstly, dependence withdrawal prepared acute intraperitoneal injection (20% W/V, 2 g/d) for 28 days; drug given gavage at (100 mg/d) , (200 concentrations (400 3 days. On third day, 1 h after administration, anxiety level measured with elevated cross maze; expression BDNF gene hippocampal area detected qPCR. Results There statistical differences ratio opening time (P=0.006 5), times (P=0.034 0), distance (P=0.035 1) between group control changed spontaneous activity induced withdrawal, difference (P 0.05). In qPCR measurement, significantly decreased, (P<0.05). Conclusion Longan has therapeutic anxiety-like rats; its mechanism is related hippocampus extract.
