Endovascular stent-graftsfor acute Stanford type B aortic dissection

ABSTRACT
:Objective To assess theresults of emergency endovascular stent-grafting for patients with acute Stanford type Baortic dissection(type B AAD)within 24 hours onset.Methods Between June 2007 andOctober 2008,30 aortic dissection underwent emergencyendOVascular within presentation.Under generalanesthesia,stent-graft was deploved at the proper position first tear entry throughfemoral artery under X-ray monitering.Follow-up by CT performed 1 w,1 m ,3 m,6 m,1 ypostoperatively to observe efficacy and complications such as endoleak,migration andfracture stent-graft. Result The technical success rate 100%;13.4%(4 cases)endoleak identified immediately after deployment.Follow up made between 1month 19 months,averaging at(12±8)months,3.3%type-1 endoleak Was observed 6months;One patient died 30 days possibly rupture;One ofacute liver failure during follow-up. Conclusion Endovascular repair stent-graftwithin presentation effectivefor treatment aorticdissection.
