ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the correlations of serum total bilirubin level with infarct volume, severity and etiological typing in patients acute ischemic stroke. Methods Patients stroke admitted to hospital from January 2012 2014 were used as subjects study. Their clinical imaging data collected, levels detected. The analyzed. Results A 290 enrolled divided into either a large infarction group(≥1.8 cm3,n=145)or small group( 17.893 μmol/L)was an independent risk factor for infarction(odds ratio[OR]2.754, 95% confidence interval[CI]1.028-7.375; P=0.044). According National Institutes Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score, mild group(NIHSS score cardioembolic stroke(OR 8.405, CI 1.719-41.106, P=0.009). Conclusions The increased is larger stroke. As oxidative stress index, stage can provide help early identification volume subtype stroke. Key words: Stroke; Brain Ischemia; Bilirubin; Severity Illness Index; Intracranial Embolism; Biomarkers
