Value of the T-SPOT.TB for the diagnosis of Tuberculous pleurisy

Objective To evaluate the value of adenosine deaminase (ADA) and peripheral blood pleural effusion T-SPOT.TB for diagnosis Tuberculous pleurisy.

Methods 104 cases patients with were enrolled in trial.The devided into 2 groups: group non-Tuberculous one.T-SPOT.TB ADA detected.

Results The sensitivity pleurisy 81.8%、95.4%.The specificity 66.7%, 50.0%.The was 54.5%, 71.7%.Two TB SFCS fluid tuberculosis higher than non-Tuberculosis (P<0.01). In Tuberculosis group, antigens SFCs ROC curve made to cut-off effusion.The study indicated that when defined as 88, its would be 84.1% could increased 95.0%.

Conclusions T-SPOT.TB has a very high being applied detecting positive standard may not applicable T-SPOT.TB.When changes, are improved obviously.T-SPOT.TB is an assistant diagnostic method pleurisy, deserving more studies clinical promotion.
