ABSTRACT
Objective
To analyze the imaging manifestations of chondromyxoid fibroma, so as to improve diagnostic accuracy.
Methods
The X-ray, CT and MRI 8 cases with fibroma confirmed by surgical pathology were analyzed retrospectively.
Results
All in long tubular bones. X-ray showed oval, well defined, eccentric, radiolucent lesion surrounding sclerosis. The thick dense bony or coarse reticular septation seen 6 cases. scan osteolytic, sclerosis, 1 case foci calcification. images a low medium signal on T1WI, high T2WI, equal T1WI slight T2WI intensity peripheral rim around. Two diffused enhancement after intravenous injection gapentetate acid meglumine liner case.
Conclusion
Chondromyxoid has certain characteristics, but should be combined differentiate from other bone tumors similar manifestations.
