Giant rhegmatorgenous retinal detachment with intraocular lens and aphakic eye

Objective To discuss surgical management of giant rhegnmatogenous retinal detachment with intraocular lens and aphakic eye.Methods 7cases were operated by pars plana vitrectomy combined perfluorocarbon,preretinal,membrane,peeling,endophotocogulation,cryopexy,and air 16% C3F8 in 2cases or siliconeoil 5cases temponade used to flatten the retina.Results The retina reattached 7 cases.1 case tamponade 2 cases was not reattached.The visual acuity improvedin postoperatively.Conclusion perfluorocarbon,preretinal membra-ne peeling,endophotocogulation,cryopexy is one effective methods treat rhegnmtogenous eye.
