Impact of cancer deaths on life expectancy and potential years of life lost from 1981 to 2015 in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, China

ABSTRACT
Objective
This study aimed to examine temporal trends in all cancer-eliminated life expectancy and potential years of lost (PYLL) Kunshan city, Jiangsu province, between 1981 2015.
Methods
Data were collected from the vital records city. Cancer-eliminated PYLL calculated by sex, Chinese population year 2000 was used calculate age-standardized PYLL. Estimated annual percentage changes (APC) 95% confidence intervals (CI) increased expectancy.
Results
Between 2015, there a significant decrease among males (APC=-2.31%, CI:-2.51% -2.11%) females (APC=-1.91%, CI:-2.26% -1.56%). However, an increase found females, 3.23 4.72 (APC= 2.42%, CI: 1.64% 3.20%) 1.10 2.94 3.91%, 1.78% 6.04%).
Conclusion
An overall observed when cancers considered, found, suggesting that premature deaths due reduced gradually. negative effects cancer on health whole have not been fully alleviated.
