Clinical nursing instructor competence inventory-development and validity and reliability testing

Objective To develop clinical nursing instructor competence inventory and test its validity reliability so as to provide a scientific objective tool for evaluating instructors' improve their performance on the basis of students' evaluation.Methods Every item was identified with literature review semi-structured interview survey procedure,and were tested.A total 152 students surveyed in this study.Results 27 items 5 main factors inventory.Cronbach'sα overall is 0.929 ; that ranges from 0.880 0.941.The has split-half 0.902 0.770 0.921.Criterion-related 0.789 content 0.833 ( P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusions Clinical good internal consistency reliability,content construct validity; therefore it could serve an assessing competence.
