Ileocystoplasty used in the treatment of advanced renal tuberculosis

ABSTRACT
Objective To study the preliminary clinical results of ileocystoplasty for treatment renal tuberculosis.Methods Retrospectivly analyse diagnosis and data 47 patients with advanced tuberculosis from July 2011 to 2012,the underwent nephrectomy (kidney + ureter partial bladder) ; which 12 were no obvious improvement in symptoms frequent urination,accept ileocystoplasty.Compared 35 cases simple group contralateral hydronephrosis changes.Results Postoperative one month review ultrasound,among nephrectomy,the kidney (collection system separation size) compared preoperative reduce 2-8 mm,average 5 mm; among ileocystoplasty,the (collectionsystem 14-25 20 mm.Compared situation significantly improved [(19.67 ± 2.06) mm vs.(5.06 1.49) mm,P < 0.05)].Conclusions Ileocystoplasty as main methods bladder contracture tuberculosis,the can be effectively improved,and improve patients' quality life a certain extent,therefore,ileocystoplasty is safe effective surgical approach tuberculosis.
