ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the surgical approach for angle-closure glaucoma combined with cataract. Methods Totally 124 eyes of 116 patients cataract were divided into two groups according to their intraocular pressure(IOP) and degrees synechial angle closure(SAC).Group A:76 SAC ≤ 180° IOP 30 mmHg (1 =0.133 kPa) after control pilocarpine treated phacoemulsification lens (IOL) implantation goniosynechialysis.Group B:48 > 30mmHg IOL trabeculectomy. The follow-up time was 6 months. The vision,IOP chamber depth observed. Results The corrected visual acuity all improved significantly compared preoperative (Group A:Z =-6.584,P < 0.01,Group B:Z =-4.516,P 0.01).The reduced operation A:t =4.504,P B:t =10.802,P mean increased =-16.3693,P <0.01,Group =-14.2475,P <0.01).Conclusion Phacoemulsification goniosynechialysis are safe effective angleclosure whose ≤30 singly 180°.For 180°,phacoemulsification trabeculectomy surgery should be better choice.
