ABSTRACT
Here we present the results of an investigation resonances azimuthal trimer arrangements rectangular slots in a gold film on glass substrate using cathodoluminescence (CL) as probe. The variation CL signal collected from specific locations sample function wavelength and spatial dependence emission into different bands provides considerable insight resonant modes, particularly sub-radiant these apertures. By comparing our experimental with electromagnetic simulations are able to identify Fabry–Pérot mode cavities well associated excitation surface plasmon polaritons air–gold boundary. We obtain evidence for dark (also known sub-radiant) modes apertures aperture ensembles.
