ABSTRACT
This study presents an analysis of various aspects relating to the changes in cooking vessels during Iron Age Philistia and southern Levant, with particular emphasis on morphology, manufacturing technology, regional distribution jugs. We have combined archaeological data petrographic analyses evaluate technological these vessels. It is argued that jugs, while first appearing Philistia, subsequently spread other regions cultures.
