ABSTRACT
Precursor lesions may be identified in fallopian tube tissue after risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) patients with pathogenic variants of BRCA1/2. Serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma (STIC) is considered a precursor high-grade serous carcinoma, whereas the significance p53 signature remains unclear. In this study, we investigated relationship between and risk ovarian cancer. We analyzed clinicopathological findings conducted DNA sequencing for TP53 signatures STIC isolated using laser capture microdissection 13 BRCA1/2 who underwent RRSO 17 control benign gynecologic disease.TP53 were detected significantly higher group than (p<0.001). No difference frequency observed groups (53.8% vs 29.4%; p=0.17). next-generation analysis patient occult cancer revealed 2 mutations causing different staining STICs another mutation shared cancer. The sequence types signatures, one progression to pathological other low without as seen control.
