Eugerres brasilianus is an appreciated commercial species in the market of northeastern region Brazil.The purpose this study was to analyze and determine diet, reproductive period, management carapeba recirculating aquaculture systems.The fishes were caught with a gillnet at two different places near São Francisco River mouth.The stomach content analyzed according frequency occurrence method, using index relative importance, assessing degsubjectedree repletion.The period established by determining gonadosomatic gonad maturation stages.The behavior fish observed captivity when subjected artificial diets cultivation tanks.The striped best feed dusk, mainly Crustacea Amphipoda, Insecta Chironomidae Tanaidacea.The has parceled spawning, which occurs from February March July September.There are morphological differences between males females, especially urogenital papilla, size color.In captivity, density 7 8 m -3 , showing good rates centesimal composition, adapting well supplied diet.
