ABSTRACT
Objective
To evaluate the application value of continuous full-thickness suture with V-Loc™ 180 barbed thread (barbed thread) for laparoscopic common bile duct primary closure.
Methods
Clinical data 45 patients choledocholithiasis who underwent choledocholithotomy in Central Hospital Jiangmen affiliated to Sun Yat-sen University between January 2014 and December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. The informed consents all obtained local ethical committee approval was received. According intraoperative method duct, divided into group (n=23) control (n=22). In group, 14 males 9 females average age (56±14) years old, sutured thread. 11 (55±14) intermittent 3-0 PolysorbTM Intraoperative postoperative conditions two groups observed during follow-up. time compared using t test, incidence leakage Chi-square test Yates continuity correction, residual stone rate Fisher's exact probability method.
Results
All surgery successfully. No conversion open or perioperative death observed. (14±3) min, significantly shorter than (48±4) min (t=-35.472, P<0.05). Two cases respectively no significant difference (χ2<0.001, P=1.000). One case after (P=1.000). recurrence biliary stricture follow-up.
Conclusions
Continuous is a safe efficacious technique closure. It can shorten without increasing complications.
