ABSTRACT
Prolonging the reproductive lifespan is beneficial for preserving physical and psychological health of women. The transplantation mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)‑derived exosomes (MSC‑Exos) has been reported to be a promising regenerative therapeutic strategy restoring function aging ovaries. present study thus evaluated efficacy derived from human umbilical cord‑MSCs (hUCMSC‑Exos) in mouse model natural ovarian (NOA), further investigated role exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs/miRs) mechanisms this creative therapy. Specifically, following administration hUCMSC‑Exos mice with NOA, was found improve, as indicated by restoration follicle numbers hormone levels. These were exhibit ability inhibit PTEN expression suppress apoptosis both vivo vitro. Subsequently, miRNA sequencing performed, which bioinformatics analysis used identify highly expressed miRNAs that are capable targeting expression. Through high‑throughput molecular analyses, miR‑21‑5p highest ranking terms expression, suggesting can preserve suppressing delivering miR‑21‑5p. On whole, results suggest application restore NOA. positive findings also MSCs holds promise an agent against aging.
