ABSTRACT
Cytokines influence the biological behaviour of prostate cancer (PC) and may patient outcome serve as useful prognostic biomarkers. The aim present study was to evaluate cytokine expression levels in prostatic needle biopsy specimens association with clinicopathological characteristics patients PC. A total 18 PC who underwent transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided were included clinical study. These naïve radiotherapy (RT) or androgen deprivation therapy prior TRUS follow up data collected. Cytokine analysed by using immunohistochemistry Spearman's correlation test used determine between characteristics. Expression pro‑inflammatory TNF‑α IL‑6 decreased Gleason score (GS) increased; however, a statistically significant difference not detected. statically observed specimen pre‑RT plasma sample (P=0.01 P=0.05, respectively) anti‑inflammatory TGF‑β1 (P=0.05). However, further studies are needed confirm these results larger size value
