ABSTRACT
Two novel Comoclathris species were identified from dicotyledonous plants ( Clematis sp. and Xanthoceras sorbifolium ) in China. The results supported by morphological characters Maximum Likelihood (ML) Bayesian Inference (BI) analyses. Multi-gene phylogenetic analyses of the ITS, LSU, SSU rpb 2 sequences revealed two new clematidis C. xanthoceratis , which are phylogenetically distinct. closely related to arrhenatheri. However, they distinguishable arrhenatheri having comparatively larger asci ascospores. This study improves our knowledge as no has been previously described suggests such taxa may be rare it is likely that will discovered hosts environments have not yet extensively investigated.
