ABSTRACT
The genus-level taxonomy of the ant subfamily Leptanillinae (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) is here revised, with aim delimiting taxa that are reciprocally monophyletic and readily diagnosable based upon all adult forms. This new classification reflects molecular phylogenetics informed by joint consideration both male worker morphology. Three valid genera recognized in Leptanillinae: Opamyrma , Leptanilla (= Scyphodon syn. nov. Phaulomyrma Leptomesites Noonilla Yavnella ), Protanilla Anomalomyrma Furcotanilla ). further divided into informal, species groups. Synoptic diagnoses provided for informal supraspecific groupings. In addition, worker-based keys to described within which caste known provided; male-based males known, plus undescribed morphospecies data published. following as new: wallacei sp. acherontia belantan bethyloides najaphalla
