With competition from so many nursing programs seeking clinical sites and numerous nurses entering the health care industry, it is imperative to have a nurse preceptor program in institutions.This article attempts identify essential components of by reviewing literature, surveying RNs curriculum, suggesting an evidence-based value.Although there much published literature books about preceptors' roles responsibilities, few references are available how start components. A total 402 with baccalaureate degree (or higher) were surveyed at system.
