ABSTRACT
This article analyzes the limitations of United Nations Security Council Resolution on Women, Peace and (1325/2000) as a product concepts gender, violence security underpinning it. Although it represents an important historical advance, recognizing potential role women in peacemaking processes post-conflict agreements, ensuring that against them is taken seriously both nationally internationally, nevertheless has number challenges. It argued here (only) first step towards recognition connections possibilities dialogue between security, does not necessarily transform way each concept are understood within Nations, its member states even non-governmental organizations dedicated to gender issues, particularly women's groups. The limits questioned by analyzing contexts armed other than wars or situations covered 1325, focusing their dynamics.
