ABSTRACT
This research was carried out to evaluate the influence of Africanized honeybees in grain production and seed quality Glycine max (L.) Merrill Roundup Ready™ transgenic soy, as well conventional soy. Transgenic soy interposed with soybean, 18 plots three treatments: covered area honeybees, without uncovered free insect visitation. The herbicide Glyphosate applied on each treatment 30 days after emergence. Grain production, number pods/plant, weight per 100 seeds, germination percentage were evaluated. There no difference among cultivars; however, (2757.4 kg ha-1) (2828.47 higher than (2000.53 ha-1). pods/plant greater (38.28) (32.65) compared (21.19). seeds did not differ cultivars or treatments. It can be concluded that, for these cultivars, there a rise 37.84% when honeybee visits allowed
