ABSTRACT
Surface metallization is amongst the recent trends in polymer and matrix composites (PMCs) research industries to improve electrical thermal properties exploit subsequent utilization aerospace sector. Specifically, have been subjected limitations form of high temperature exposure substrate deterioration. The present study encompasses a new strategy manufacturing process. first stage hybrid thermoplastic-thermoset composite was hot compaction which comprised primary preform preparation enabling partial impregnation thermoplastic resin through fabric reinforcement layer. entailed vacuum bagging conducting catalyzed thermoset impregnation. infusion step included cocuring cycle generate fiber reinforced comprising impregnated with improved adhesion. Resin flow front movement analyzed during Composite achieved cold spray (CS). In metallization, effective operative window stand-off distances (SoD) has determined.
