ABSTRACT
The controlling criterion for differential settlement between the new and old subgrade of widened expressway is an important technical problem concerned by academia engineering field. Based on project, finite element method was used to analyze effects foundation, embankment road surface settlement, in which pavement considered as a whole structure, ultimate tensile strength determine its strength. calculation duration from construction original post road. after bilateral explored. analysis results show that maximum should be controlled 5cm considering mechanical response integral more reasonable subgrade.
