ABSTRACT
The present work is mainly carried out to study the distribution of temperature in friction stir welded plate Aluminium alloy. A 3-D finite element simulation model was developed predict and residual stress Friction Stir Welding (FSW) Al 7075 effect angular velocity tool, axial load welding speed on heat generated between tool be investigated. simulations obtained were based three factor five level central composite rotatable design. Second order polynomial equations for predicting developed. Residual stresses plates due thermal cycles predicted. maximum plated increases with increase rotational where as it decreases speed.
