Relative Effect of Sand Blasting and Acid Etching on the Surface Roughness of Pure Titanium and Titanium Alloy for Dental Implants

The objective of this study is to investigate the effect sandblasting and acid etching on surface roughness morphology pure titanium alloy compare their relative contribution. Both these samples were first sandblasted then etched using HCL H 2 SO 4 for different duration temperature. results indicated that value increased after while opposite occurred alloy.
