ABSTRACT
In this study, the abundant availability of clamshell, as potential biomass resources for production inorganic filler such calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ) and oxide (CaO) is fully utilized. addition, effect loadings toward mechanical properties polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) biopolymer was studied using various ranges 10, 20, 30, 40 50 wt%. The tensile strength modulus PHB showed significant improvement with incorporation up to 30 wt %, finding supported by micrographs obtained from scanning electron microscope (SEM) which revealed uniform distribution in region. However, elongations at break specimen shows vice versa, they start deteriorate addition filler.
