ABSTRACT
In this article, a new kind of starch sizing agent, cationic graft [CS-g-P(AM-co-HEMA-co-BA)] was synthesized. Its structure identified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results experiment show that polyester/cotton blended yarn (T/C 55/45) sized with exhibits better tensile strength, abrasion resistance and lower hairiness counts than PVA.
