A Novel Camera Calibration Method Based on Circle Array Target

ABSTRACT
To improve accuracy of computer visual inspection in keyboard automatic assembly line, a new two-stage camera calibration method was presented. 2D circle array used as plate, and centers the circles were taken feature points. And point coordinates extracted without human interference. The proposed divided into two stages. First, lens distortion neglected, internal external parameters obtained by modified toolbox for MATLAB. Then, account, improved genetic algorithm (GA) adopted to optimize gotten first stage. Experiment results indicate is feasible, can meet with requirements given application.
