ABSTRACT
To study the aerodynamic characteristics of strayed cable under wind and rain, with object Zhijiang bridge, pressure experiments on 2- 3-dimensional models stay cables in tunnel are made. Mean fluctuating wind-pressure coefficients 2 kinds surface morphology different direction angle obtained. The results show that rivulet position will greatly influence distribution surface, separation point flow nearby be changed obviously. Aerodynamic when a certain position, then rain-wind-induced vibration occur .The experimental guidance for wind-resistant design safe production long-span cable-stayed bridges.
