ABSTRACT
The buckling deformation and stress distribution of the tubing nearby packer would be seriously influenced by constraints. This paper focused on Strength analysis transitional segment. method to calculate equivalent segment were derived considering boundary continuity condition, adopting fourth-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations helical strength method. study makes up for weakness traditional in vertical well, improves pertinence accuracy tubing. results show that with axial pressure increasing lead length irregular fluctuations maximum increasing. gradually reduce finally approach a constant.
