ABSTRACT
This paper presents the interest of an original absorber vibration in order to reduce chatter turning process. The device is composed a linear oscillator corresponding flexible cutting tool subject strongly coupled Nonlinear Energy Sink (NES), with purely cubic stiffness. novelty this work use nonlinear law, more accurate for modeling delayed equations motion are analyzed using combination method multiple scales and harmonic balance. Different types responses regimes revealed such as periodic response also Strongly Modulated Response (SMR). Analytic results then compared numerical simulations. Finally, potential NES demonstrated control
