ABSTRACT
Sporadic reports indicated that salt stress induced the expression of sucrose transporter genes, and transporters (SUCs or SUTs) as important carriers are responsible for loading, unloading distribution sucrose, but study SUCs involved in metabolism under at whole-plant level has not been reported to date. AtSUC4, unique member low affinity/high capacity SUT4-clade Arabidopsis thaliana , may play an role plant tolerance. Here, through analyzing two homozygous mutation lines AtSUC4 ( Atsuc4-1 Atsuc4-2 ), we found higher fructose glucose content shoots lower roots these mutants compared with wild-type (WT), resulting imbalance accumulation changes metabolitesat level. Our results is tolerance by regulation metabolism.
