ABSTRACT
The electrospark deposition (ESD) is a well-known cheap method utilizing concentrated energy flux to transfer material of an electrode onto the surface machined for enhancing properties its layer. Typically, hard may be deposited materials with lower hardness make such object more robust wearing. Coatings produced by ESD applied protect new elements or recover worn elements. Unfortunately, process produces high roughness. laser beam machining (LBM) has been involved roughness coating made ESD. coated have tested determine tribological and they were compared before after LBM. To achieve reliability results, test conducted in accordance design experiments (DoE) methodology results which obtained processed statistical analysis. description experiment performed silicon carbide SiC coating, conclusions are included this paper.
