Study on the Key Technology of Hot Regeneration of Plant-Mixed Asphalt Material

It is necessary to mend the shattering process and heating technique in order to improve the technology of hot regeneration of plant-mixed old asphalt. The temperature and the reactivation of old asphalt material is supposed to be better controlled as well as the process of mixing and paving roadways as a result of technological improvement. With the reconstruction works of the highway G205 from the Yellow River Bridge to the Liuqiao roundabouts, research of old asphalt mixture has been carried out and all the products turned out to meet the design requirements, according to the results of thimble test, water stability test and tension test in low temperature of Marshall specimen.
