Design and Simulation Optimization of the Gravity Oil-Water Separator

An oil/water separator with inlet component, perforated plates and coalesence internals was designed in this paper. The influence of the on flow field structures component separation were simulated by commercial software FLUENT. results show that can prevent turbulence eliminate back-mixing effectively. And uniformity best,when distance between two 140mm.The inclined had highest efficiency three structures.
