ABSTRACT
The Sirius Project is an initiative of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory - LNLS (CNPEM MCTI), for design, construction and operation a new synchrotron radiation source 3rd generation, with high brightness energy electrons 3.0 GeV. Among many other components there will be built 80 ceramic cameras embedded in special magnets, whose function to act correct orbit electron beam storage ring. chamber crucial this application because material transparent magnetic field generated electro magnet thus acts directly on beam. difficulty these constructive lies fact that, must attached metal join vacuum chambers that make up ring, then present excellent mechanical tight. process chemical bonding between performed by brazing vacuum. After brazing, film deposited copper 7 micrometers thickness. objective paper describe deposition results obtained production, characterization, microstructural tightness.
