ABSTRACT
This paper presents the development and implementation of a wireless system for street lighting control monitoring, focusing on its energy efficiency reliability. Each node network consists lamp connected to an electronic dimmable ballast through unit radio module. The is designed using 802.15.4 IEEE protocol it implemented mesh topology at 2.45 GHz. It possible adjust power consumption luminosity each particular point (or street) relative traffic intensity or safety considerations, saving considerable amount energy. also according environment light by radiant sensor present in check status (on off). entire monitored self-proprietary software, includes ability make decisions depending local sensors. can be used as router transmit information from one another order extend distance range achieve. main advantages this are reduction costs related detect short time failure. Results show that reduce single 69%. was adequate itself could receive commands 130 m apart.
