ABSTRACT
In this work the stability of TiN and TiC nanopowders in isopropyl alcohol as well fabrication dense adhered thin coatings based on by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) have been evaluated terms zeta potential mass deposited when hydrazine is added. The surface nanoparticles has modified to improve dispersion adding a cationic polymer (polyethylenimine) dispersant with two different molecular weights. influence acidic/basic character solvent also order reach most efficient EPD process. It was found that adsorption polyethylenimine higher weight can preserve homogeneity coatings. be tuned achieve similar which improves basic media.
