Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of MgMnAlZnCu High Entropy Alloy Cooling in Three Conditions

ABSTRACT
In this paper, alloy with composition of MgMnAlZnCu was designed by using the strategy equiatomic ratio and high entropy mixing. The microstructure mechanical parameters new cooling in three conditions were studied. prepared induction melting then it cast copper molds air, water salt respectively. properties samples examined microhardness tester, XRD, TEM, SEM testing machine for material strength. results showed that composed mainly h.c.p Al-Mn quasicrystal phases. exhibit hardness (431HV-467HV) compression strength (428MPa-450MPa) at room temperature. fragile strains from 3.29% to 5.53%.
