ABSTRACT
Corrosion is typical of the damage that occurs in ageing pressure vessels and pipelines used industrial processes as a result reactive products inside or harsh environmental conditions on outside. Motivation for this article to summarize cases, causes, consequences, prevention terms models prediction explosion from BLEVEs. The contribution deals with real scenarios accidents associated transport storage pressurized facilities corrosive flammable chemicals. While LPG, propane, butane BLEVEs are well described literature, information about toxic substances rather scarce. study presents results hazardous zone calculation event ammonia non-flammable chemical releases. For calculations BLEVE overpressure, AICHE ́s Prugh Baker together Effects 9.0.8. Rupture model were study.
